Port Blair, May 29: Residents of Chouldari Village allege that the STS Bus, which reaches Port Blair from Jirkatang via Chouldari does not stop at various Bus Stops of Chouldari areas.
According to passengers at Nimbubagicha area of Chouldari, the bus never stops at Nimbubagicha Bus Stop, even if dozens of passengers wave hands and request the driver.
“We tried to lodge complaint about such unruly behavior of the driver but at Transport Office no one is ready to listen to us,” said an angry villager of Chouldari.
Although earlier this month, a official order asked Bus Drivers not to take excess passengers in Buses but later on public pressure the drivers were asked to consider problems of public from remote villages and accommodate in atleast STS buses.
