Port Blair, May 02: The Chairperson, Municipal Council, Mr. K Ganeshan has urged the General Public, especially those who are proceeding to mainland or inter islands during the school vacation period, to keep the water tap connections of their quarters and houses as well as overhead tanks closed to avoid wastage of drinking water.
“In case overflowing, wastage of water is noticed, the water tap connection to such houses and quarters will be disconnected without any notice and the occupant has to get a re-connection by completing all the codal formalities,” a release added.
