Port Blair, Mar 07: Mr. Rudel Kiro, a 42 years old labourer working in a private land at New Pahargaon, fell into a pit accidently, this evening.
According to reports Kiro was working on a retaining wall at New Pahargaon Village, without taking proper precaution, when the wall of the pit, dug for the retaining wall caved in.
Soon Police was informed and a team of Fire Service and Police Jawans, under the leadership if Dy.S.P MA Nausad brought out the Rudel Kiro from the pit, after more than one hour of delicate rescue operation.
