Port Blair, Mar 06: A solemn function will be organized to pay tribute to the pioneer Freedom Fighters on 10th March 2014 at 9 a.m at the Chatham Memorial to commemorate the arrival of first batch of Freedom Fighters of First War of Independence in these islands in the year 1858.
Chief Secretary, A&N Administration will pay tribute to the heroes of First War of Independence by placing wreath at the Chatham Memorial followed by others.
