Port Blair, Mar 19: The Electricity Department, A & N Administration is organizing various training Programmes for the benefit of departmental staff and engineers working in T & D System in association with CIRE, Hyderabad at Port Blair commencing from 20.03.2012 to upgrade the skills. Different training programmes are on Pilferage of Electricity – Technical & Legal Remedies – 02 days; Construction Standards for Lines & Sub-Station – 02 days and Operation and Maintenance of 33/11KV Sub-station – 02 days.
The faculty members from CIRE, Hyderabad have arrived Port Blair for this purpose. About 100 staff working under T & D section of the department will be trained during these Programmes.
The Principal Secretary (Power), A & N Administration will inaugurate the training programme on 20.03.2012 at 0930 hrs. at conference hall of Phoenix Bay Power House (PBPH) complex of the department.
