Port Blair, Jan 09: As a part of Island Tourism Festival 2014, Department of Agriculture, Andaman & Nicobar Administration will organize Flower Show and Fruit & Vegetable Show at Organic Horticulture Farm, Sippighat on Jan 14-15, 2014.
The show will be inaugurated by the First Lady of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Smti Suneeti Singh, on Jan 14, 2014 at 11.30 am.
During this event ‘flower show’, competition will be held under the categories viz, potted plants, cut flower, dry flower arrangements, rangoli and bouquet & garland making, while a fruit recipe competition will also be held on Jan 14, 2014 during the fruit & vegetable show in the categories of salad, chat, puddings, ice cream, jelly making, a communication said.
