Port Blair, Dec 23: PCC President Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Lt Governor to consider early disbursement of compensation to the farmers of Campbell bay whose agriculture lands have been submerged in the waves of Tsunami, 2014.
In his letter, Kuldeep has stated that many farmers who have not been disbursed the compensation against their submerged lands, have met him when he was on a visit to Campbell bay recently and briefed him about their pathetic conditions.
Accordingly, Kuldeep has requested for early disbursement of compensation to all the left out farmers of Campbell bay so that they may use the amount to start a new life.
