Port Blair, Dec 06: The Directorate of Tourism, A & N Administration proposes to create a data base of all tourism service providers in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands for sending bulk SMSes during natural disasters to take appropriate measures in the best interest of tourists.
In this connection, all Private & Govt. hotels/resorts /Lodges/Home Stays, Tourist Transport Service Providers like Travel agents, Tour operators, boat operators, Water Sports Operators, game fishing operators, Scuba Dive operators, sea walk operators, adventure sports operators who are directly involved in tourism activities in the Islands are requested to submit their contact information to the Director (Tourism) before 31/12 /2013 by post or by fax to 03192-230933 or by email to andamantourism .ipt@gmail.com.
