Port Blair, Sept 26: The newly elected Chairperson of Port Blair Council, Mr. K Ganeshan has clarified that welfare of PBMC employees and cleanliness of Port Blair city will be his top most priority.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha on Wednesday, Mr. Ganeshan said that without employees the PBMC is nothing and hence the welfare of PBMC employees is must.
Regarding cleanliness and Sanitation the newly elected Chairperson said that Sanitary workers are already carrying out cleanliness works in city, which will be now be carried out more carefully and more professional manner, which will ensure proper cleanliness of city. “Besides this we have several other plans for keeping the city clean,” he said.
Regarding visit of Lt. Governor, he said that the PBMC will be inviting the Lt. Governor to visit Indira Bhawan the PBMC headquarter in the second week of October 2013.
