Port Blair, Sept 05: The Chairman State Transport Authority in its meeting held on 20.08.2013 had taken a lenient decision to impose a fine of Rs.700/- on the 18 Autorickshaw owners whose permit was suspended for a period of 15 days for non-operating the electronic fare meter. The defaulters are requested to deposit the fine amount with the cashier, Directorate of Transport on or before 20.09.2013.
