Sri Vijaya Puram, October 23: Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi (PBGKR), in collaboration with Health 4U Multi Speciality Clinic, organised a Specialist Health Camp at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Bambooflat, to provide specialised medical consultations and accessible healthcare services to residents of the area.
The camp featured the services of three specialist doctors — Dr. Sornalatha, Gynaecologist; Dr. Megha Kakani, Dermatologist; and Dr. Gayatri, ENT Specialist — who provided consultations and medical guidance to patients with various health concerns.
More than 90 patients benefited from the camp, reflecting the importance of bringing specialist healthcare services closer to island communities and reducing the need for residents to travel long distances for medical consultations.
Mandeep Grewal, Founder & President of Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi, expressed his gratitude to the medical team of Health 4U Multi Speciality Clinic and the staff of CHC Bambooflat for their valuable support and cooperation in making the camp successful. He reiterated PBGKR’s commitment to serving underprivileged and underserved communities through healthcare initiatives and humanitarian service.
This initiative is part of PBGKR’s continued efforts to improve access to quality healthcare across the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. With this camp, the organisation has further advanced its mission of community service, taking its total to 48 health camps organised since its inception.
Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi remains committed to extending specialist medical services to remote and underserved areas, ensuring that access to healthcare becomes easier, more inclusive and more accessible for island residents.
