Sri Vijaya Puram, October 19: The Lt. Governor of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Dr. Dinesh Sharma, today held a meeting with the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police at Lok Niwas, Sri Vijaya Puram, ahead of his visit to Delhi. The meeting reviewed the law and order situation and issued directions to expedite measures for the prevention and treatment of swine flu. Along with this, Agniveers were appointed with the approval of the Government of India, and directions were issued for the deployment of an ambulance van at Radhanagar Beach and a rescue boat at Elephant Beach.
