Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 28:The Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, A&N Administration, has informed all concerned that the youth who qualify in the Quiz Round of the ‘Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue’ (VBYLD)–2027 will proceed to the Essay Round, which will be conducted from Oct. 5 to 15, 2026.
The selected participants will be required to submit a 500-word essay on the theme ‘Blue Economy, Human Capital & Global Competitiveness’, assigned to the A&N Islands under the ‘Viksit Bharat Challenge Track’. The essay round will be followed by Presentation Rounds at the District and State levels. Winners at the State level will proceed to the National Round of VBYLD–2027, scheduled to be held from 10th to 12th January, 2027 in New Delhi.
The essays will be assessed on parameters including Content Quality, Structure and Organisation, Originality and Creativity, Clarity and Language, Use of Evidence, and Conclusion, with a total of 100 marks.
Youth aged 15–29 years who qualify in the Quiz Round are eligible to participate in the Essay Round through the MY Bharat Portal: https://mybharat.gov.in/ .
