Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept 27: A delegation of the INTUC Federation, led by Mr. Swaminath Jaiswal, National President INTUC (F) and Dr. Rajesh Garhia, Senior National Vice President, INTUC (F) called on the Labour Commissioner and discussed key issues concerning workers’ welfare.
The delegation also comprised of Mr. TSG Bhasker, National Vice President INTUC (F), Mr. K.P Usman, State President INTUC (F) and Mr. Mohd. Rafi, General Secretary INTUC.
They raised the issue of non-availability of Labour Welfare Officers in every department and demanded regular medical camps for workers.
The Labour Commissioner gave a positive assurance and stated that necessary action would be taken to address the concerns raised by the delegation.
