Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 25: As part of the ongoing awareness campaign against alcohol and drug abuse, the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman District, in collaboration with the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, A&N Administration, will organize a DC-SP Cup Badminton Tournament from 28.09.2026 (5 PM to 9 PM) to 2.10.2026 (5 PM to 9 PM) at Multipurpose Hall, Netaji Stadium, Sri Vijaya Puram.
The tournament aims to spread awareness about the harmful effects of alcohol and drug abuse while promoting a healthy, active, and disciplined lifestyle through sports. The championship will feature competitions in the following age categories viz. Open Category (Men & Women): Doubles; Above 45 Years Category (Men & Women): Doubles and Under-18 Category (Boys and Girls): Doubles.
