Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 25: A 3-days in-service ‘Training-cum-Workshop’ for the PGTs, GTTs and PETs of Govt. & Govt. Aided (Upper-Primary, Secondary & Sr. Secondary) Schools of all three Districts, on HWA (Health & Wellness Ambassador) was organized by the Science Wing of the Directorate of Education in association with the Directorate of Health Services, on 25th, 26th & 28th Sept., 2026 in the Auditorium of Govt. Model Sr. Sec. School Aberdeen, Sri Vijaya Puram.
Addressing the participants as the chief guest, Shri Aditya Sangotra, Director (Education), emphasized the importance of the holistic development of children, with special focus on their physical, emotional, social and mental well-being. He highlighted the need for greater awareness and effective implementation of the provisions of POCSO Act for the safety and protection of children.
