Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept 11: Zilla Parishad Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (ZPVKV), Ferrargunj, celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day on 10th September 2026 with enthusiasm and active participation of students and teachers.
The programme was graced by Mr. R. S. Sharath, Assistant Conservator of Forests, DFO Wimberlygunj, South Andaman, as the Chief Guest. Mr. V. K. Abdul Aziz, Zilla Parishad Member, Bindraban Constituency, attended as the Guest of Honour, while Mrs. M. A. Naseem Banu, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Bindraban, was the Special Guest. Mr. Abdul Bashir, Zilla Parishad Member, Ferrargunj Constituency, was also present.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and Special Guest highlighted the importance of universal brotherhood, unity, harmony and mutual respect, and encouraged the students to follow the ideals and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
The students presented a colourful cultural programme, showcasing their talents and conveying messages of unity, brotherhood and national integration. The celebration concluded with appreciation for the students and teachers for their enthusiastic participation and efforts in organising the programme.
