Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 23: In exercise of the powers conferred under the M.V. Act, 1988 (Act No. 59 of 1988) read with the Administration’s Notification dated 10th March, 2008, the District Magistrate, South Andaman District hereby notifies that the road stretch from Girls School Traffic Point to Dharamshala Junction/Traffic Point shall remain closed to vehicular traffic from 24.08.2026 to 28.08.2026, during 0830 Hrs to 1200 Hrs and 1430 Hrs to 1700 Hrs, for conducting practical training of the Tactical Driving Course (TDC) by IRBn, A&N Police.
The closure is necessitated for the safe conduct of the training exercises. The general public is requested to cooperate and follow alternate routes as directed by the Traffic Police.
