Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug. 12: The Directorate of Tourism, Andaman & Nicobar Administration has invited applications from eligible MSMEs, Homestay owners/staff and individuals for availing benefits under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Tourism Interventions, 2026-27, notified vide Notification No.242/2026 dated 5th August, 2026 in the A&N Gazette (Extraordinary) No.243, also published in the Daily Telegrams Newspaper dated 06.08.2026, for the following schemes:
- Training, Certification and Exposure programme for Homestay Staff in Andaman & Nicobar Islands for Promotion of Quality and Sustainable Tourism.
- Promotion of Astro-Tourism in Andaman & Nicobar Islands through MSME Support for Astro-Tourism Equipment Purchase.

Under this initiative, selected beneficiaries can procure the required Astro tourism equipment/telescope and submit their claims for reimbursement of subsidy and Homestay operators / staff can participate in training programmes and exposure visits to top-performing homestays organized by the Department.
In this regard, to facilitate the beneficiaries, Tourism Department will be organising a registration and facilitation camp. Expression of Interest/ willingness is invited from interested beneficiary for participation in the facilitation camp for availing assistance under the scheme. The willingness may be submitted in the prescribed format in Planning Section Directorate of Tourism, A&N Administration on or before August 20, 2026 by 5 PM.
