Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 11: In a swift and compassionate operation, Police Station Rangat successfully traced and safely reunited a 40 years old resident of Shanti Basti, Nimbutala, who had gone missing from his residence on 09/08/2026. Considering his psychological condition and vulnerability, the matter was accorded immediate priority.
On receiving information from his family, the police team promptly launched a search by examining CCTV footage, checking passenger manifests, and conducting ground-level enquiries, which led to vital information about his presence in Betapur.
Acting promptly on the information, PS Rangat coordinated with PS Billiground, whose team immediately swung into action and successfully located the missing person in the Betapur area. He was safely brought back to Rangat and taken to CHC Rangat for medical evaluation and necessary care. After completion of the required formalities, he was safely reunited with his relieved family members.
The successful tracing of the missing person reflects the prompt response, vigilance and commitment of N&MA District Police towards safeguarding the lives and well-being of citizens.
