Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 10: In exercise of power conferred under Sub-Section (2) of Section 10 of the Manoeuvres, Field Firing and Artillery Practice Act, 1938 and in pursuance of letter No.ANC/32101/GN/FIRING (i) dated 03rd Aug, 2026 of Captain (IN) COO (Mar Ops) for commander-in-chief. It is notified for the information of all concerned that firing practice by Andaman & Nicobar Command Headquarters by Military Aircraft will be carried out from 1000 hrs to 1200 hrs and 1400 to 1600 hrs IST on 11, 18 and 25th August 2026.
The area bounded by following coordinates will be affected:-
- a) 11 DEG 40 MIN NORTH 092 DEG 27 MIN EAST
- b) 11 DEG 52 MIN NORTH 092 DEG 19 MIN EAST
- c) 11 DEG 48 MIN NORTH 092 DEG 29 MIN EAST
- d) 11 DEG 43 MIN NORTH 092 DEG 16 MIN EAST
Safe flying height is above 2000 feet.
All concerned are here by warned to keep themselves and their vessels/fishing boat away from the firing range during the above mentioned date and time.
