Sri Vijaya Puram, Aug 07: The Andaman & Nicobar AIDS Control Society (ANACS) observing International Youth Day 2026 along with the inaugural function of 3rd round of the Intensified IEC Campaign (IIC) on 12th August 2026, at the Auditorium of Tagore Government College of Education (TGCE), from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
The Secretary (Health), A & N administration has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest and the Director of Health Services, A & N administration will be the Guest of Honour for the above function.
The primary objective of this campaign is to raise awareness among young adults about HIV, AIDS, and other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). The event will also serve as a platform to acknowledge and appreciate the commendable contributions made by the Red Ribbon Club (RRC) Nodal Officers, as well as Nodal Officers from various departments, in mainstreaming HIV and AIDS awareness activities within their institutional schedules.
