Sri Vijaya Puram, July 28: A delegation from Hindu Rashtra Shakti, led by State Youth President Mr. Angshuman Roy and accompanied by Mr. Ankit Mridha, State General Secretary (Youth), North & Middle Andaman, met with Dr. Sachin Shinde, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Health), Andaman and Nicobar Administration, on 28-07-2026.
During the discussion, the delegation strongly advocated for the launch of the PM Shri Air Ambulance Seva in the islands to ensure life-saving medical evacuation for critical patients. They also raised the demand for introducing Sea Plane services to improve inter-island connectivity.
Additionally, the delegation submitted a memorandum highlighting other public health infrastructure concerns. Dr. Shinde gave a patient hearing and assured the delegation that their proposals, including the air ambulance service under process and would be reviewed on priority.
