Sri Vijaya Puram, July 27: As part of the Van Mahotsav celebrations, the Rotary Club of Port Blair, in association with ANCOL, organised a tree plantation drive on the ANCOL campus. During the programme, 100 fruit-bearing saplings were planted with the active participation of students.
The initiative aimed to promote environmental conservation and encourage students to develop a sense of responsibility towards protecting and nurturing nature. The Rotary Club said the plantation drive reflects its continued commitment to creating a greener and healthier future while inspiring the younger generation to contribute to environmental sustainability.
