Sri Vijaya Puram, July 26: Two Myanmar nationals, namely Wai Phyo and Aye Tun, absconded from the Open Distress Camp, Prothrapur, on the intervening night of July 25 and 26, 2026. Upon receipt of this information, the South Andaman District Police immediately initiated a search operation. Intensive efforts are underway to trace and apprehend the absconding individuals. The description of the two Myanmar nationals is provided below.
The general public is requested to remain vigilant.
