Sri Vijaya Puram, July 23: The Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad South Andaman, Mr. P. Ummer, along with Mr. P.A. Sharfuddin, Chairman, Works and Development Committee, ZPSA, Mr. A. Ummer, Zilla Parishad Member Wimberlygunj Constituency, Mr. Abdul Bashir, Zilla Parishad Member Ferrargunj Constituency, Mr. S.K. Gupta, Superintending Engineer(PRI) and the Engineering team of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, carried out an inspection of the ongoing rural road construction works under Gram Panchayat Wimberlygunj viz i) Rural Road from Zilla Parishad Road to Chaya Rani House at Ward No. 09 and ii) Rural Road from Zilla Parishad Road to Anganwadi Centre, Azad Nagar, at Ward No. 09.
The Adhyaksh reviewed the quality and pace of the ongoing works and directed the engineering officials to ensure that both projects are executed in accordance with the approved specifications and completed within the stipulated timeframe. The Superintending Engineer (PRI) briefed the inspection team on the present status of the works.
The inspection reflects the commitment of the Zilla Parishad South Andaman towards strengthening rural infrastructure and ensuring the timely implementation of development projects for the welfare and convenience of the people.
