Sri Vijaya Puram, July 3: Online applications have been invited from the eligible Other Backward Classes students to apply online fresh & renewal application for the following Scholarship Schemes as per the timelines given by National Scholarship Portal, NIC, Govt. of India, New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria
For Pre & Post-Matric Scholarship – students belonging to OBC category in A & N Islands and who’s parental annual income does not exceeds Rs.2.5 lakhs p.a for Pre-Matric (IX & X class only) and Post- Matric Scholarship to OBC & EBC (after class XI onwards).
For Grant of Additional Scholarship to OBC students of ANI to pursue higher education anywhere in India after Secondary Level (Except Class XI & XII) – Students belonging to OBC category in A & N Islands and who’s parental income does not exceeds Rs. 8.00 Lakhs p.a.
All eligible students are hereby advised to apply online on National Scholarship Portal (NSP) through url: https://scholarships.gov.in, under “Head State Scheme – Andaman and Nicobar”, Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC students and Post-Matric Scholarship to OBC & EBC students, and Grant of Additional Scholarship (UT) to OBC students for pursuing Higher Studies after class X (Except Class XI & XII) are advised to register and fill up the application form.
Applicants have been advised to:
- Ensure their bank account is active, Aadhaar-seeded, and compliant with their bank’s requirements to avoid failures in the disbursement of scholarships.
- Submit their applications well before the deadline to avoid last-minute issues.
