Sri Vijaya Puram, May 31: With a focus on women’s empowerment and promoting self-employment opportunities, the State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI RSETI), Sri Vijaya Puram, in collaboration with the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, Sri Vijaya Puram, successfully organised a 12-day training programme on poultry farming at Guptapara Gram Panchayat.
The programme was specially designed for members of the NRLM Self Help Groups (SHGs), aiming to equip rural women with practical skills and income-generating opportunities in the livestock sector.
Dr. Shanjali served as the resource person for the training. A total of 23 women participants from various SHGs successfully completed the training. During the valedictory function, Shri Durlab Das, Pradhan of Guptapara Gram Panchayat, distributed certificates to the successful participants and encouraged them to apply their newly acquired skills for economic self-reliance.
