Sri Vijaya Puram, May 19: The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, New Delhi, is implementing the Pradhan Mantri Divyasha Kendra (PMDK) Scheme at Composite Regional Centre (CRC), Port Blair. In this regard, the general public are informed that assistive devices are being provided to eligible Divyangjan/persons with disabilities and senior citizens.
Assistive devices are aimed at supporting persons with Disabilities and Senior Citizens in enhancing their mobility, accessibility, communication, education, and daily living. Eligible beneficiaries may apply for the required assistive devices by submitting the prescribed application form along with relevant supporting documents.
The application forms for availing the assistive devices are available on the website of Directorate of Social Welfare, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, bearing the URL:- http://andssw1.and.nic.in/socialwelfare/ and also from PMDK, CDPOs, Mukhya Sevikas, Anganwadi Workers, during office hours on all working days. Interested Divyangjan/persons with disabilities and senior citizens are requested to collect and submit the forms at the earliest.
