Sri Vijaya Puram, May 12: The Armed Police Unit (APU) of Andaman & Nicobar Police is organizing “Udaan Summer Camp–2026” as part of its welfare and community outreach initiative for police wards as well as the general public. The camp will be conducted free of cost from 18th May 2026 to 17th June 2026 at the APU Police Lines.
The initiative aims to provide children and youth with a constructive, engaging, and enriching platform during the summer vacation, focusing on creativity, wellness, learning, discipline, and overall personality development.
Organized with the inspiring spirit that “Summer camps are where learning meets adventure, confidence blossoms, and memories last forever,” the month-long programme promises a joyful and meaningful experience for all participants. The camp has been thoughtfully designed to promote holistic development through a wide range of interactive, educational, cultural, and sports-based activities catering to different interests and age groups.
Experienced professionals, trainers, and experts from various fields will guide the participants through activities intended to enhance physical fitness, mental well-being, creativity, teamwork, confidence building, and social interaction. In addition to sports and recreational activities, special career guidance programmes will also be conducted for the benefit of the participants. The list of events is furnished below:

Sessions will be conducted on weekdays and Saturdays at various venues, including the Police Line and Netaji Stadium, ensuring convenience and accessibility for all participants.
Interested individuals are requested to register with the In-Charge, Police Family Welfare Centre, Police Line, during working hours from 0900 hrs to 1800 hrs. Registration forms, duly accompanied by a consent letter from parents/guardians, must be submitted on or before 16th May 2026 (Noon) to secure participation in the camp.
