Sri Vijaya Puram, Apr 24: As per the request received, public grievance hearing camps were organized by the District Administration of North & Middle Andaman under the chairmanship of Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands, at Baratang on 22.04.2026 and at Kadamtala on 23.04.2026 to address and resolve various public concerns.
The concerned Heads of Departments and Offices under the Rangat Division were present to hear and resolve the issues raised by the public. Various matters relating to land disputes, land conversion, correction of names, mutation, earth cutting, boundary disputes, forest clearance, electricity supply, water crises issues, road connectivity and other issues concerning developmental activities were brought forward by the general public, including PRI members. These grievances were heard, and appropriate action will be taken after following due procedures by the concerned departments.
The residents of Nilambur, Sunderghar, Uttara, and Kadamtala Gram Panchayats expressed their gratitude to the Member of Parliament and the District Administration, led by the Deputy Commissioner of North & Middle Andaman, for organizing such camps. They appreciated the opportunity provided to present their individual grievances effectively.
The Member of Parliament also expressed appreciation to the Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle Andaman for organizing these camps to address public grievances and ensure proper and timely responses.
