Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 11: Billiground, North and Middle Andaman – The much-anticipated AC Cup Knockout Football Tournament officially commenced on 11th March, organized by the District Administration of North and Middle Andaman. The tournament features an impressive total of 12 teams from various locations ranging from Baratang to Diglipur, all keen to showcase their skills on the football pitch.
The opening ceremony saw a disting”Ishe’ presence, with Mrs. Shibani Mazumder, Pramukh of Mayabunder, acting as the chief guest. She was joined by esteemed members of the Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRI) from Billiground, along with the Tehsildar of Mayabunder, the principal of Swadeshnagar, and the S.H.O of PS Billiground. Their attendance underscores the importance of sports and community involvement in the region.
