
Sri Vijaya Puram, Mar 08: The Kumbabhishekam ceremony of Sri Muthumariyamman Temple was held with great devotion on 08/03/2026 at Rangat near the Neer TV Station. A large number of devotees from Rangat and nearby areas gathered to witness the sacred ceremony.
The religious rituals and special poojas were performed according to Vedic traditions and Agama Sastras by Veda Pandits who arrived from mainland India. The sacred Kumbabhishekam was performed amidst chanting of Vedic mantras.
Devotees participated in the ceremony with devotion and offered prayers seeking the blessings of Goddess Muthumariyamman for peace and prosperity.
After completion of the rituals, Annadhanam (free community meal) was served to all devotees by the temple committee. Hundreds of devotees participated and received the prasad.
The temple committee thanked all devotees and volunteers for their support in successfully conducting the Kumbabhishekam ceremony.
