
Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb. 25: The members of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Real Estate Association (ANIREA) called on Ms. Purva Garg, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, at her office in Port Blair.
The delegation was led by Mr. Manoranjan Haldar, President, ANIREA, who formally welcomed the Deputy Commissioner and extended the Association’s best wishes for her tenure. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Mohd. Rafique, Vice President, and Mr. Dipankar Debnath, General Secretary, along with other members of the Association.
During the interaction, the delegation discussed various matters and grievances concerning the real estate sector in South Andaman. Key issues relating to procedural challenges, regulatory concerns, and sectoral development were placed before the Deputy Commissioner for consideration. The Association highlighted the importance of a streamlined administrative process to facilitate transparent, lawful, and sustainable growth of the real estate sector in the Islands.
Ms. Purva Garg gave a patient and attentive hearing to the concerns raised by the delegation. She assured that the matters presented would be examined appropriately and that possible positive steps would be taken in accordance with rules and regulations.
ANIREA expressed its sincere appreciation to the Deputy Commissioner for her constructive approach and assured full cooperation and support from the Association for the smooth functioning of the district administration and for the overall development of the real estate sector in South Andaman.
The Association looks forward to continued coordination with the District Administration in addressing industry concerns and contributing positively to the growth and development of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
