Sri Vijaya Puram, Feb 15: In a significant step towards strengthening grassroots governance and improving public infrastructure, the foundation stone for the Construction of Panchayat Bhavan (D/S) at Gram Panchayat Kanyapuram under RCD, APWD, Wimberly Gunj, was laid on 14th Feb.
The project has been sanctioned with a total amount of ₹3,24,00,000 (Rupees Three Crore Twenty-Four Lakh only). This marks a major achievement and a proud moment for the residents of Kanyapuram.
The foundation stone was laid by Mr. Dr. Apurva Sharma (DANICS), Director RD, PRI & ULBs, Sri Vijaya Puram, in the gracious presence of:
Mr. P. Abdul Basheer, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Kanyapuram
Mr. Shamim Ahamed, Panchayat Samiti Member, Kanyapuram
Mr. P. Mohammed Ali, PRI Member, Ward No. KP-01, Senior citizens, Female residents including small children from the village kanyapuram.
The new Panchayat Bhavan will provide improved administrative facilities, better public service delivery, and a dedicated space for community meetings and developmental activities. This long-awaited project reflects the commitment of the administration and Panchayat representatives towards transparent governance and rural development.
Speaking on the occasion, the representatives expressed gratitude to the administration for sanctioning this important project and assured the public that the construction work will be completed in a timely and quality manner.
