Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 21: The Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad South Andaman, Mr. Prakash Adhikari, today lauded the visionary leadership of the Chief Secretary, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, Dr. Chandra Bhushan Kumar, IAS, for his focused approach towards holistic coastal development. The appreciation comes in the backdrop of the introduction and inauguration of various sports and recreational activities at Wandoor Sea Beach on January 20, 2026. The Zilla Parishad South Andaman has expressed sincere gratitude to the Chief Secretary, Dr. Chandra Bhushan Kumar, IAS, and the Director (IP&T), Mr. Vinayak Chamadia, IAS, for this initiative, which is expected to significantly boost tourism and generate employment opportunities.
The newly introduced activities have added vibrancy to Wandoor Sea Beach, making it more attractive for tourists and local visitors alike. The initiative is also creating avenues for self-employment and sustainable income for youth through sports-related and allied tourism activities.
