Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 5: All the Traders, Bar Establishments, Auto rickshaw owners and other concerned other Govt./Semi Govternment Establishments of N&M Andaman District have been informed that the Legal Metrology Officers along with the team of the Directorate of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs will be holding camp at N&M Andaman from Jan. 9 to 20 for verification and stamping of all the Weighing & Measuring Instruments, Liquor/Peg Measures, Auto Fare Meters, etc. used in the said area. The tentative schedule of the area-wise camping is as under:

Further, all the concerned have been informed that in case anyone found using unverified/faulty weighing and measuring instruments at N&M Andaman District after the above stipulated time will be viewed seriously and stringent legal action as prescribed under law shall be initiated against them.
