Port Blair, May 15: A delegation led by Smti Abala Sammaddar, Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman along with Shri Mohd. Safique, Pramukh, Panchayat Samiti, Ferrargunj, Smti Rasheeda, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Hope Town, Shri Laxmi Narayan, Up-Pramukh, Panchayat Samiti, Ferrargunj, Shri A .P Jabir, Pradhan, Mannarghat Shri Sreechander More, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Bambooflat, Shri Aziz Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Stewartgunj and Fishermen met the Chief Secretary on 15.05.2013 in connection with the issues related with fishermen as well as construction of new Fish Landing Centre at Hope Town. The Chief Secretary, A & N Administration, Secretariat, Port Blair assured the delegation that he will visit shortly Hope Town and the important issues will be discussed with authorities of the Fisheries Department for the early resolvement of problems.
