
Sri Vijaya Puram, Dec 09: The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Annual Training Camp was successfully conducted from 29 Nov to 8 Dec 2025 at Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya (JNRM) College. A total of Seventy-Five cadets took part for an intensive schedule of training and personality development activities.
Cadets underwent a series of activities including drill practice, weapon training, map reading, disaster management training, and sessions on leadership and social awareness were conducted, also a visit was organized to BMP Platoon, led by the PI Staff & Lt. Dr.V K Sahu, ANO. The training aimed at instilling discipline, teamwork, patriotism, and self-confidence among young cadets.
The closing ceremony of the camp was held at the Auditorium of JNRM College on 08th December, which was graced by the Commanding Officer, Col K Y Singh, and Dr. Pearl Devdas, Principal of JNRM College. While addressing the gathering, both dignitaries appreciated the dedication and enthusiasm displayed by the cadets throughout the camp. They encouraged cadets to continue upholding the values of the NCC (Unity & Discipline) and contribute positively to society and the nation.
The camp concluded with a cultural programme and prize distribution ceremony, where outstanding cadets were felicitated for their exemplary performance.
