Port Blair, Feb 22: In a brief function held in the conference hall of the Directorate of Tourism, the Director of Tourism distributed certificates to the un- employed youths of these Islands who had undergone a 45-day training programme in Food production and Food & Beverage in National Institute of Tourism & Hospitality Management (NITHM) at Hyderabad conducted by the Department of Tourism. Altogether 33 candidates from different parts of these Islands participated in the training. While conveying his best wishes, Director (Tourism) also announced to depute more candidates from these Islands for such kind of training in different faculties of Tourism and Hospitality sector in near future. He further extended his thanks to the Director NITHM for accommodating this first batch of trainees in their Institute.
