
Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 18: A five-day training program on NISHTHA Educational Technology (Level-I) began on 18th November 2025 at Shiksha Dadan, Sri Vijaya Puram. This program is being attended by 37 teachers from all 09 educational zones of A&N Islands, representing a significant advancement towards the incorporation of modern technology into the classroom setting.
The training was inaugurated by the Principal, State Institute of Education (SIE). She emphasized that this specialized training would greatly benefit all participants, providing them with essential skills to utilize educational technology for improved teaching and learning outcomes, in accordance with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The sessions were led by a team of Resource Persons, who shared their expertise and practical knowledge with the attendees, including Mr. T Samson, Mr. Adal Arasan, Ms. Y Lakshmi Prasanna, Dr Gaurab Dhali, Ms. Aradhana Yadav, Mr. LN Moorthy, Ms. CP Pradika, Mr. CH Srinivasa Rao, and Mr. Navin Ekka.
The Resource Persons provided hands-on training on various aspects of educational technology, concentrating on learner-centric pedagogy, the integration of digital tools, and the creation of quality e-content, all of which are vital components of the NISHTHA (National Initiative for School Heads’ and Teachers’ Holistic Advancement) initiative.
