Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 17: The District Round of the Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2026 has been rescheduled to 28th November, 2025, and the time is 9:30 AM. The venue remains the same as the Auditorium, Andaman Law College, according to Principal Dr. P.V. Nagendra Sarma.
As many students/youths were unable to register online due to some technical snags, many of them requested alternative arrangements for registration. To ensure a good number of students/youths to participate, offline registration has now been initiated, he said.
Fresh appeals have been made to all Principal’s in the South Andaman District to encourage a greater number of students to participate. Now, the procedure has been simplified to register. Any student who intends to participate can give their name to their respective NSS Program Officer. Principals of all colleges were asked to submit list of participants to Andaman Law College not later than 24th November, 2025.
Students or non-student youth can participate in the event. The participant has to speak on “50 Years of Emergency—Lessons for Indian Democracy’ for three minutes. A five-member jury will select 10 for state-level rounds. Joint Director of MyBharat (formerly NYKS), Mr. Sukaranjan Biswas, appealed to the youth to make this program a grand success with their active participation. He appealed to the NGOs working in the area of youth to take initiative in this regard.
