Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 17: The Directorate of Social Welfare, Andaman & Nicobar Administration, will be organizing the 5th Anniversary Celebration of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) at Mannarghat Gram Panchayat, Ferrargunj Tehsil, on 18/11/2025 at 10:30 AM. The programme aims to raise awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse and to promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle among the community.
All residents of Mannarghat village and the neighboring areas are cordially invited to attend and participate in the event. The active involvement of the public will play a vital role in strengthening the message of prevention and supporting the vision of a Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.
To encourage wider public participation, an NMBA e-Pledge QR Code has been provided for the people of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Citizens are encouraged to scan the QR code and take the pledge to commit themselves to building a drug-free and healthier society. The Directorate of Social Welfare requests the cooperation of the general public in making this awareness initiative a success for the well-being of the island community.
