Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 16: The Directorate of Shipping Services is pleased to inform that online bookings for the “Dweep Darshan” Heritage Harbour Cruise are now open from 0900 hrs today, 15th November 2025. The cruise, designed to offer an immersive experience into the Islands’ freedom movement history and the scenic splendour of Sri Vijaya Puram’s harbour, will commence its first journey on 17th November 2025 at 0930 hrs from Phoenix Bay Jetty.
Cruise Details at a Glance
• The Heritage Harbour Cruise will operate daily from 17th November 2025, departing 0930 hrs from Phoenix Bay Jetty and returning at 1315 hrs (total duration: 4 hours).
• Route: Phoenix Bay Jetty → Chatham Island → Viper Island (30-minute stopover) → Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Dweep (1-hour stopover) → Phoenix Bay Jetty.
• Fare: 550/- per person.
• Online Booking Only
All bookings for the “Dweep Darshan” Heritage Harbour Cruise will be facilitated exclusively through the official online booking portal of the Directorate of Shipping Services. This ensures a faster, hassle-free reservation experience, eliminating the need for physical queuing at counters. Bookings have now been opened for all trips scheduled up to 30th November 2025. No counter booking facility will be available.
