Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov 14: A first-year student of JNRM reportedly committed suicide in the JNRM girls’ hostel on today. The incident has created shock and fear among students on the campus. The cause of death is still unknown. The girl reportedly hails from Paschim Sagar region of Diglpur.
Police and medical teams reached the hostel immediately, and the body was sent for post-mortem. MA Sajid, President of NSUI Andaman & Nicobar Islands, expressed deep sorrow and demanded a proper investigation. He also urged students to share any information they may have with the police.
