Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 26: A one-day training programme on the theme ‘Fostering Progressive Rural Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Livelihood and Poverty Alleviation in Rural Areas (Theme–1)’ was conducted under the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) scheme at CD Block Prothrapur attached to the Directorate of RD, PRIs & ULBs, A&N Administration in the presence of Mrs. Gurjeet Kaur, Block Development Officer, Prothrapur. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and youth representatives from the Gram Panchayats of Beodnabad, Calicut, and Sippighat.
During the technical sessions, the Resource Person Mr. Nikky Ajosetin, Economic Investigator, District Industries Centre, Industries Department, enlightened participants on various Government schemes promoting entrepreneurship and skill development such as PM Vishwakarma and PMEGP.
