Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct 19: A Block level closing ceremony of the 8th Poshan Maah and felicitation of Women Achievers under DAY-NRLM (Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihood Mission) was held on Oct. 16 in the premises of CD Block, Diglipur. The month-long Poshan Maah was celebrated with great enthusiasm across all 15 Gram Panchayats under CD Block Diglipur, highlighting the importance of nutrition, women empowerment, and livelihood promotion. The event was graced by Mr. Dipankar Mistry, Pramukh, Diglipur as the chief guest, and Mrs. Suniti Halder, Zilla Parishad Member, Mr. Shyamal Bhowmick, Pradhan, GP RK Gram, Mr. M. Rajendra Kumar, BDO, CD Block Diglipur, and Mr. T. Kumarswamy, Block Coordinator (Poshan Abhiyan – ICDS) were the special guests.
During the ceremony, outstanding SHG members, CRPs, Bank Sakhis, and FNHW–Gender CRPs were felicitated for their remarkable contributions towards livelihood development and women empowerment under DAY-NRLM. Winners of Rangoli and Recipe competitions held during the Poshan Maah were also awarded.
