Sri Vijaya Puram, Sep 26: As part of observance of Swachhata Seva Fortnight, on 25/09/2025 Mr. Venkateswar Rao, Pradhan Gram Panchayat Shivapuram invited the students of Govt. Senior Secondary School CFO Nallah to organise an Awareness Programme on the process of “Solid & Liquid Waste Management”.
On this occassion more than 85 participants actively participated including 70 students 5 teachers Sanitary Workers and office staffs.
The Pradhan welcomed all the students and thanked the school management for quick arrangements on short notice period successfully organising the programme.
Further Mr. Vinoj, Sanitation Supervisor beautifully explained the step-by-step process of Solid & Liquid Waste Management starting from door-to-door collection of Waste, Segregation of dry Waste, Bailing process, transportation of Waste to mainland for Recycling etc. He also requested the students to educate the same to the elder peoples of their family, younger brother/sister, neighbor to dump the wet waste and dry waste separately which makes easy for segregation process and also requested to maintained a clean & green environment in their surroundings.
The awareness programme was organised in the presence of Mr. Ajay Mondal, Teacher In-charge GSSS CFO Nallah, Mr. Susanth Das, PET GSSS CFO Nallah and other teachers.
The overall programme was organized under the guidance and coordination of Mr. Mohammed Haneef, Panchayat Secretary, GP Shivapuram.
