Mayabunder, Sept. 23: In accordance with the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakta Parivaar Abhiyaan’, a comprehensive Health Camp was organized at AYUSH Arogya Mandir, Mohanpur by Dr. R.P. Hospital, Mayabunder. Dr. Christina Rossity, Medical Officer In-charge, Dr.R.P. Hospital, Mayabunder supervised the camp, which witnessed wide participation from women and they were benefitted from a range of preventive and promotive healthcare services.
An AYUSH Health Clinic was conducted with the joint efforts of Dr. Priyanka Iqbal, Medical Officer (Ayurveda), Dr. Diviya Singh, Medical Officer (Homoeopathy), and Smt. Puja Kumari, Yoga Instructor. A separate Yoga session participated by local women highlighted the importance of lifestyle modification and holistic wellness. Further, screening for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) was undertaken by CHO and ANMs including Tuberculosis Screening was undertaken by Shri. Madhav Rao, DPC. The ABDM team facilitated the generation of ABHA IDs and PMJAY Ayushman Bharat Cards, ensuring villagers gain access to digital health services and financial protection under Government schemes. Villagers were also briefed on ‘snake bite’, prevention, first aid management and timely referral measures.
