Sri Vijaya Puram, Sept. 9: The Deputy Education Officer, South Andaman is organizing the Inter School Badminton knock out tournament for Under -17 (Boys & Girls) and Under -14 (Boys & Girls) of South Andaman Educational Zone at Multipurpose Hall. Today, the matches for Under 17 Girls were conducted.
In first semifinal of Girls (Singles), Y. Lakshya of SSS St. Mary’s, Bhatubasti defeated S. Elakiya of GSSS Garacharma while in the second semifinal, Anjani Naik of GSSS Girls defeated Anugrahit Tirkey of GDMS(SS) School. In first semifinal of Girls (Doubles), Arushi Minj and Trinity of GDMS (SS) defeated P. Ankita and CH Pavitra of GSSS Model. In second semifinal, Y. Lakshya & Anushka Kumari of SSS St. Mary’s, Bhatubasti defeated R. Abhinaya & Meghna Bonda of SSS Ummat Public School. All the finals matches will be played on Sept. 12 from 8.30 onwards.
